Happy Veteran's Day!

I know it is a day late but Happy Veteran's Day to those Veteran's and thanks for all you do and have done!

Happy Halloween

We had a fun Halloween! The boys loved Trick or Treating. First we went to the church Trunk or Treat and then we went to a few houses. They loved getting candy. They kept saying "We are getting tons of candy!". The boys were the same things as last year, Thing One, Thing Two, and The Cat in the Hat. Next year they will choose their own costumes.

Austin's Birthday!

He turned two! It really is amazing how fast time flies after you have kids. It seems like it was still going at a pretty decent pace until I had kids. Now I really can't beleive how fast time flies. August 23 was Austin's 2nd bithday. We just had a little birthday party for him. He loves balls and especially soccer balls. He always runs around kicking soccer balls and says "I am soccer player".

Flying With Daddy

Tyler took the boys up for the first time this summer. These pictures aren't of that time, I forgot my camera that time. But these are of the boys playing in one of the planes. The boys loved flying. Bryce sat in the front with Tyler. He really thought he was flying he didn't let go of the controlls the whole time. Austin and Braydon sat in the back with me and they loved the view. We flew over Tyler's parents house and we called ahead of time. So they stood outside land waved to us. The boys could even see them, they loved it. It is so funny the think whenever anybody is going to work they are going to fly airplanes. They think that is everybody's "work".

Summer Fun

Well I can't believe it is already November! The last time I wrote was in August. We had a great summer, but way too short! It flew by, as it always does. Here are some pictures of some of our summer fun.

Learning To Sew

While I was in Utah my sister Sonja taught me how to sew. She is one of those people that can do anything. If she just looks at something she can figure out how to do it. She is so crafty. And she is really good at sewing she had made a really cute bag right before I got there so when I saw it I wanted to learn how to make it. So she first taught me how to sew a blanket and then we went on to the bag. I mean I didn't know how to sew at all so I loved learning. I have now made a few more blankets. I know I still have a long way to go but I am pretty pround of myself.

Trip to Utah

Since the boys did so well on the trip to Idaho, I decided to take them to Utah by myself. My parents were going to Utah, to my sisters house so I decided to go and meet them there. So I drove all the way to Utah with the three boys by myself. It actually went really well. The boys did great and we had so much fun! We made it all the way there in one day but we took our time getting home so we took two day. The boys loved seeing their cousins and gettin to know them better. They kept saying they didn't want to leave Aunt Sonja's house, they just wanted their daddy to come there. It was great to get to spend time with my family.
The picture is at the Pioneer Day Parade in Roosevelt UT

Family Reunion

In June Tyler's family had a family reunion in Sun Valley Idaho. So we made the drive to Idaho. The boys actually did great! We were a little worried about how there were going to do in the car but it wasn't bad at all. We had a really fun trip. It was a good time geting spend time with family. After Sun Valley then we went to Twin Falls, ID. to see more family. It was a lot of fun.

Kristie Came to Visit

My best friend Kristie came to visit this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. She was able to get a weekend by herself. So I tried to give her the grand tour of Seattle. We had some fun girl time. We saw some sites and did some shopping. It was a lot of fun. The picture is of us at the top of the space needle. And the other picture is what we returned to. When we got back to my car, it had been broken into. Somone had thrown a rock through the window. There was nothing for them to take so they got nothing. We just ended up having to repair a window. But we tried not to let it spoil our fun. We just switched cars and went back out. I am so glad that Kristie was able to come and visit. I had a great time.

Braydon and Bryce are Three!!

Well Braydon and Bryce turned three on June 2nd. We had a party for them the weekend before and then on their actual birthday we just did another little thing with just our family. They love blowing out candles so it was nice to have 2 birthday parties. They are just growing so fast. They are so much fun and I love them so much!

Cute Pics

I just thought these were some cute pictures. The first one is Austin sleeping in Braydon's lap. He just got out of bed and wasn't quite ready to wake up so he snuggled up to Braydon and fell back asleep. It was so sweet. The next one is Bryce gettin all dressed up. They love to but underwear on their head and pretend they are riding motor cycles. I guess they think it looks like a helmet. And the last one is Austin trying to take a bath in the sink.

Father and Son Camp Out

The last weekend in May was the Father and Son Camp Out. Tyler was brave enough to take Braydon and Bryce. He says they had a great time. Austin and I got to spend the night by ourselves. So we had a nice peaceful night.

Day at Whidbey Island

We went to visit Tyler's best friend from high school. He lives in a house right on the ocean. Their back yard is the ocean. It was amazing! The boys really enjoyed it too. They especially loved the ferry ride to get there.

Train Ride

The boys love trains! There is a train near by that takes you on a ride up the pass. For Mother's Day weekend mothers could ride free so we took the boys on a train ride. Tyler's family went with us. It was a lot of fun. The boys loved it!

Hike Down to Snoqualmie Falls

This was at the bottom of Smoqualmie Falls. We have hiked down to the bottom a few times. It is a short hike. We really enjoy to go see the Fall.

They do EVERYTHING together

The boys have gotten pretty good at going to the bathroom by themselves. And when one of them has to go the other one usually follows. Well the other day they both wenttogether. After a few minutes of them being in there I went to check on them and this is what they were doing. They were sharing the toilet and both trying to go to the bathroom together.

Happy Easter

We had a fun Easter. It was pretty low key. But we had a good time. On Saturday I had a baby shower to go to. It was pretty far away so I couldn't really do anything else. So Tyler had his day planned out. He took the boys to a couple different egg hunts. They had a good time.

Sleepy Austin

I just thought this was really cute. Austin pulled his little hood on by himself and then sat in this chair and just fell asleep sitting there. I just thought it was too cute.

My Birthday

I got this mixer for my birhtday, and I love it! A couple of days after my birthday Tyler's mom taught me how to make home made bread. I am so excited now that I can make it and I finally have a mixer! The week of my birthday I also had a couple of exciting events happen. I finally finished an associate degree. So I am proud of that. I know it isn't that big of a deal but it was a long process for me. And also that week Braydon and Bryce were finally offically potty trained. It seemed like it just happened at once. So we are very proud of them!

Sunday

Not much is new around here. So I don't really have a lot to post about but since I said I was going to post more often I thought I should write something. Here is a picture of the boys geting ready for church on Sunday. They enjoy going to church but Braydon still doesn't want to go to nursery by himself. Bryce loves Nursery though. Before church if we ask Braydon if he is going to go to class by himself. He starts crying and says he wants to go night night. He would rather take a nap than go to Nursery. Only 2 more weeks and Austin will be in Nursery too!

Happy January

I know...I have been so bad at posting, like always. I am going to try and be better from now on. We will see how that goes. We had a great Christmas. We stayed here in Seattle. But we actually had a white Christmas. It was amazing! Tyler's whole family was together for Christmas. It was the first time in four years that they were together for a Christmas so it was a lot of fun. After Christmas My sister Sonja and her famiy and my sister Katya and her daughter came to Seattle to visit. They were here through New Year's. It was a blast. The house was crowded but we had lots of fun. It was just fun to be with family. Braydon, Bryce and Austin loved the whole Christmas experience. The love Christmas books and Christmas lights, and Christmas trees. Austin still walks around saying, "ho ho ho". But it is great to start a new year. We look forward to what this new year has to offer. We are excited for what it will bring.
