Bodie's Blessing Day

Bodie was blessed when he was only 6 days old. We wanted to do it while my family was here.

Welcome Bodie Ray Staples

On August 9, 2010 (8-9-10) at 7:49 am Bodie Ray Staples was born into our family. It was a planned C-section. Everything went well except Bodie was having a little trouble breathing. he was born with some fluid in his lungs. So he spent 5 days in the NICU. It was hard to not have him be with me but I knew he would be okay, he only needed a little time. The day before he got out of the hospital my parents, one of my sisters, and one of my neices came for a week. It was great to have them here. It was such a huge help but I also just enjoyed them so much! We have really enjoyed having our new addition to our family. Braydon, Bryce, and Austin just can't get enough of him. They want to hold and hug and kiss him all the time. The are all such great big brothers! It has been a hard adjustment but since my family has been gone I have had tons of help from Tyler's mom. She has been such a huge help. On nights that Tyler isn't home she comes and helps me get the kids ready for bed. It is such a great help. We are adjusting and everything is going great!

Fun Flight

Just a couple of weeks before I had the baby Tyler took some freinds and me on a little flight to the ocean. We had a great time. We had dinner. Then we had a fire and made smores on the beach.

Our trip to Utah

With one month to go before we have another addition to our family we went on a little road trip to Utah. It was so much fun. I was able to see Kristie. We spent a relxing day together away from the kids. We got pedicures had lunch and later went out for yummy dessert. It was so fun to see her and have some girl fun! We were in Utah for the 4th of July. We were able spend it with Tyler's family. On the way home we stopped in Twin Falls to see some of Tyler's family there also. It was a quick trip, only five days but a change of scenery was so nice. We had a lot of fun, the boys enjoy road trips so much and actually do really well.

Braydon and Bryce are Four!!

I am sure I will say this every year but I can't beleive they are four. Time really does go by so fast, especially after you have kids. It is so fun to watch them grow. They are so fun. The are also very crazy and active. I just rememer when they were little tiny babies in the hospital. I remember the dr saying it truly is a miracle that they are here. It is such a miracle to have them in my life!

5 Year Anniversary

Well our anniversary isn't until July but we knew that I would be huge and unable to do a whole lot so we decided to celebrate a little early. We went to Hawaii for our five year anniversary. We had a blast! It was both of our first times being there and we had a great time. We were there for 5 days and we did just about everything there is to do there. We packed everything in. We didn't want to miss out on anything so we were going to bed late and setting our alarm to get up early in the morning. But we did also find plenty of time to relax on the beach. While we were gone the boys stayed with Tyler's parents and brothers. They had a great time too!

Fun In Leavenworth, WA

After Christmas we went with Tyler's family to Leavenworth, WA. We had a great time. It was fun to see some snow. The boys loved playing in the snow!

Catch Up

This was the best picture we could get of our family. The second one we asked them to take their hands out of their mouths, so you see they had to get all out and all of them put their hands in their mouths.

We had a fun Thanksgiving. We spent it with Tyler's family. All of his brothers were home for it so it was lots of fun. Austin is potty trained!! My goal was to have him potty trained before Thanksgiving and it happened. He did great! That is 3 boys potty trained in one year! Whew, glad that is over with! We had af un Christmas. They boys got what they wanted, they were so excited. It was really fun to watch them this year. We just moved, just down the road from where we were but to a bigger place. So we are done with the move and getting adjusted and starting to get back into the swing of things.
